At Great Habib world coffee, quality/fine coffee is what we are all about, founded directors with robust experience spanning over 20 years in the coffee sub sector and industry empowered with quality control, passion and unwavering commitment to the coffee industry’s service, Great Habib World Coffee was founded out of the need for quality/fine coffee along the coffee value chain (farm to cup) with the major focus on improved coffee farming,production,preparation and processing of fine specialty coffees.

Our coffees are majorly sourced from Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda whose peak (wagagai) stands high at 4321 Meters above sea level, Great Habib World Coffees are sourced from between 1780 masl and 2150 masl, endowed with lush green vegetation, fertile volcanic soils and cool weather that enables coffee plants to develop with unique properties and attributes for a great taste and flavor notes.
Each coffee fruit (or cherry) is made up of several different layers, therefore, in order to brew up one Specialty Coffee Brews, the beans first go through
processes to remove these layers and to retrieve the coffee bean (or seed) from its fruit.
Coffee trees flowering between January-February due to the warmth during the time of the year and by the end of February they start to wither as the coffee trees start to bear cherries.
We are driven by consistency and sustainability through our ethical practices at every stage of the business, Great Habib World Coffee’s founders give our clientele the best coffee experience by ensuring that the coffees are of high quality during the sourcing, primary processing, and secondary processing and at the export stage to suit and increase the demand for Ugandan coffees internationally
The coffee trees bear coffee cherries that appear green in color and later after proper maturity ripen to red in color.
Our way of trading is rooted in the uplifting of the livelihoods of coffee growing communities through the promotion of co-operation, empowerment and sustainability. Unlike the many other big coffee companies, Great Habib World Coffee Limited is reliable, strong, independent and viably owned.
After proper maturity and ripening, the coffee cherries will be red in color and ready for harvest by selective hand picking of only the red ripe cherries to avoid compromising the quality,taste and flavors at cup score stage.
We source, prepare and process fine specialty coffees independently and we are not influenced by any outside entities in the process of sourcing, preparing and processing. This allows us to make choices of what to prepare and process in line with our customer specifications and needs.
